Linda Karshan - Book Launches, in Conversation, Video Presentations.
We’re please to announce we’ll be holding a UK launch of Equilibrio - Linda Karshan: Art, Architecture and Sacred Geometry in Conversation in association with The Redfern Gallery.
Artist Linda Karshan (American, b. 1947, lives and works in London, UK, and New York, NY), represented by Redfern Gallery, will be in conversation on her recent publications, exhibitions and installations in Venice and L’Aquila, Italy, with the curators Richard Davey and Roberta Semeraro, respectively (Equilibrio, Venice, 2018; Library for L’Aquila, L’Aquila, 2019).
The conversations will be accompanied by film clips documenting the projects (filmed by Marco Agostinelli) and installation images. Finally, a screening of the original short performative film work by Karshan and Ishmael Annobil will be presented as a significant development to Karshan’s practice to emerge during the Equilibrio exhibition in Venice.
